Lost Island Waterpark is a premier tropical oasis in the heart of the Midwest, featuring a rare hydromagnetic water coaster, one of the region’s longest lazy rivers, and immersive island theming that transports you to a paradise far away.
For the 2026 season, the waterpark is scheduled to be open daily from June 5th through August 23rd. Standard operating hours typically are 10:30AM - 6:30PM, but it is always a good idea to check the official calendar for weather-related updates or special event closures.
Parking is $10 per day for standard vehicles and a portion of every parking fee is donated to Make-A-Wish® Iowa.
Yes! Life jackets are provided free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, tubes are free and located in corrals near each applicable slide.
Must be 48 inches tall to ride these rides: Molokini Crater, Tangerine Tempest, Polynesian Plunge & Somoan Splash, Lost Soul Falls
Must be at least 42 inches tall to ride with adult; over 48 inches to ride alone: Wailua Kupua, Kiwi Koaster, Emerald Adventure & Jade Rapids
Rides for all heights: Tá Katipo, Calypso Cascade, Blue Iguana Lagoon, Star Fish Cove, Tsunami Bay, Tahiti Village, Kailahi River
The following are weight restrictions for number of tube riders: single rider - 275lbs, double riders - 400lbs, quad riders - 700lbs
