Visits With Santa At Downtown Waterloo

December 7th, 14th, AND 21st

Santa Claus is coming to town! Bring your little ones to visit with Santa at Anton’s Garden Saturday December 7th and December 21st from 1 PM to 3 PM. Jingle Bar Hop At Downtown Waterloo

December 14th @ 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Get into the holiday spirit by drinking holiday spirits and supporting local bars all around downtown Waterloo! For $20, you can register for a self guided bar crawl, a costume contest, and a day of merriment with friends. The first 250 people to register will receive a goodie bag with items to help you through the day. Battle Of Waterloo Wrestling Tournament At Young Arena

December 19th-21st

The Battle of Waterloo is Iowa’s premier high school wrestling tournament featuring some of the state’s most elite wrestlers. Take in two days of exceptional wrestling matches with 8 mats of action! Cheer on state-ranked teams and wrestlers, and enjoy a 3,000-seat venue that offers great views of the competition, along with concessions, amenities, and a fun atmosphere. Noon Years Party At The Phelps Youth Pavilion

Register By December 28th

December 31st @ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Want your kids to take part in the tradition of New Years, but don’t want them staying up until midnight? No problem- there’s a party just for them at the Phelps Youth Pavilion. Families can ring in the New Year 2025 with crafts, snacks, and games, then watch the Noon Year’s ball drop.
