The Path to Panáche Tea Boutique

A Vision of Family and Tradition

"I wanted to create something that felt like an escape from the ordinary."
Kas Logan

The story of Panáche Tea Boutique in Waterloo didn’t begin with a sudden lightning bolt of inspiration. Instead, it was a clear moment of alignment that occurred the first time Logan and her family walked into the boutique’s historic home. With its high tin ceilings and and beautiful lights, the space felt elegant and full of possibility—the perfect setting to manifest a love for culinary adventure.

The foundation of Panáche is deeply rooted in Logan’s childhood in South Africa. Her fondest memories were formed around the family table, sharing food and desserts crafted by the talented women in her family. That inherent sense of warmth, beauty, and togetherness is now woven into the fabric of Panáche, creating an environment designed to feel like a collective "exhale" for every guest.

While Logan brings classical training from The Le Cordon Bleu Institute, the boutique has grown organically through years of self-study and hands-on experience. By immersing herself in the art of sourcing, tasting, and hospitality traditions, Logan has built a refined experience that remains guided by genuine curiosity.

Today, Panáche is a place where conversations slow down and even those who are "not tea people" find something to love. It stands as a gathering space where people come together to celebrate and relax, ensuring that every guest feels genuinely welcomed.

"Many people don’t realize how diverse tea truly is, so we encourage curiosity and exploration."
